I am the director for a large student information system modernization project here at Michigan State University and have known Kareem Downer Shojgreen (KJ)  on  a professional basis for nearly one year. KJ was initially hired to assist our organizational change management team with the development of eLearning training materials in support of our project go-live. Unfortunately, KJ was terminated from the project due to issues specifically related to the COVID-19 pandemic; this was a loss for our project.

During his employment tenure, I always enjoyed my interactions with KJ. He was consistently friendly, very professional and his technical skills and creativity were welcomed on the project. This project is very complex; it involved the development and deployment of software applications, the collections of which will essentially be the backbone the university. Despite its complexity, KJ was quickly able to grasp difficult subject matter and translate that into educational content for end-user education, critical for the project's success. In my estimation, KJ was well-rounded and highly respected by both his peers and superiors alike.
